SLP has over forty years experience in offshore engineering and construction. This has been foundational for SLPs expansion into offshore renewables. SLPs capabilities include design, engineering, fabrication, construction, installation and project management. SLPs Lowestoft yard is ideally located to support the construction of North Sea Windfarms in UK and continental waters.
Recent projects include the engineering and construction of the Thanet Offshore Substation, Met Masts and the foundation for a prototype Tidal-stream Turbine.
SLP has recently completed an HVDC Converter Substation and is therefore well positioned to produce further such platforms as Windfarms are built at increasing distances from the shore.
